Privacy policy

This policy explains what data is processed when you visit pedalytics.bike, why, for how long and how you can exercise your rights.

Data controller

Daniel Ortega. You can write to us at support@pedalytics.bike.

What data we process and why

  • Technical browsing data: when serving the site, the hosting provider logs data such as the IP address, date and time, requested pages and browser. We use it to make the site work and to keep it secure. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
  • Web analytics: if you accept it, Google Analytics measures how the site is used (page views, visit duration, device type and approximate location) so we can improve it. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

This site has no forms, user accounts or marketing communications, and does not collect personal data in any other way. What the Pedalytics app handles (your account, your bikes, your rides) is explained in the app privacy policy.

Recipients and international transfers

  • Vercel Inc., the site's hosting provider.
  • Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC, the providers of Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics. This may involve transfers of data to the United States, covered by the safeguards the GDPR provides for, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep data

  • Technical server logs, for as long as the hosting provider sets and as is strictly necessary for the site's security.
  • Google Analytics data, for a maximum of 14 months.
  • Your cookie choice is stored in your browser for 6 months if you reject and 13 months if you accept; after that we will ask you again.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to support@pedalytics.bike. If you have given consent, you can withdraw it at any time from “Cookie preferences” in the site footer, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority; in Spain, the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy if the way the site handles data changes. The date of the latest version appears at the top of the page.
