Cookie policy
This policy explains which cookies and local storage pedalytics.bike uses and how to control them.
What they are
Cookies and local storage are small files or pieces of data a website keeps in your browser. They are used, for example, to remember your preferences or to measure how the site is used.
Preferences and your cookie choice (no consent needed)
- pedalytics-theme (local storage): remembers whether you prefer the light or dark theme. It does not expire.
- pedalytics-consent (local storage): remembers your choice about analytics cookies. It lasts 6 months if you reject and 13 months if you accept.
They are needed to provide the functionality you asked for or to respect your choice, and are not used for any other purpose.
Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
- _ga (cookie, 2 years): distinguishes visitors to produce statistics. Provider: Google.
- _ga_<property ID> (cookie, 2 years): keeps session state. Provider: Google.
These cookies are not set, and no Google resource is loaded, until you press “Accept”. If you press “Reject” or do not respond, no analytics cookie is used.
How to change your choice
You can accept or reject analytics cookies at any time from “Cookie preferences” in the footer of any page. Withdrawing consent turns Google Analytics off and deletes its cookies. You can also clear cookies from your browser settings.
